Jennifer McCormick

Background & Experience

Jen brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience to NFuze Wellness. Her nursing career includes cardiac care in a hospital setting and five years in nursing management, giving her experience in both direct patient care and clinical leadership.

After losing her job during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jen decided to pursue a career change she had been considering for some time. She wanted to move into a field where people actively chose to seek care, rather than seeing them primarily during illness or hospitalization. That decision led her into aesthetics and wellness and eventually to founding NFuze.

She continues to expand her clinical knowledge through professional education and specialized aesthetic training, including training at Confidence Lab in Chicago.

Her Approach to Treatment

Jen takes a comprehensive approach to treatment. She considers a client's concerns, overall health, treatment suitability, and expectations rather than focusing on one symptom or recommending a single procedure.

She believes there is rarely one treatment that addresses everything a client wants to change. Her approach involves evaluating the available options, explaining how treatments work, and developing a plan based on the client's individual needs.

Education is a significant part of her work. She wants clients to understand what a treatment involves, what it may accomplish, and what its limitations are before making a decision. If a treatment is not appropriate, she is comfortable recommending another option or advising against proceeding.

Her Role at NFuze

As NFuze's founder and a nurse injector, Jen performs a broad range of the practice's services, excluding facials. She particularly enjoys developing comprehensive treatment plans and working with clients over time as their needs change.

Building relationships is one of her favorite parts of the job. She takes her clients' concerns seriously but keeps appointments conversational and relaxed. She enjoys making people laugh, especially when they're nervous about their first visit.

Privacy is also important to her. She wants clients to feel comfortable discussing their concerns and asking questions during their appointments.

Outside of NFuze

Outside the practice, Jen spends time with her two children and three dogs. She also enjoys getting outdoors and riding the bike trails around Edwardsville.
